Information provided to MediciGlobal is accessed by employees performing specific functions necessary to accommodate your request. When personal health information is collected for the purpose of a clinical trial, you must provide consent to have this identifiable information shared with third parties, such as clinical research centres. These parties are bound by confidentiality agreements and privacy regulations.
To improve the navigation, content, and design of our web sites, we may from time to time track visitors to evaluate the relevance of the web content. This information is collected in the aggregate and no personal information is specifically used. Other than the exceptions noted below, your personal identifiable information is used only for the specific purpose for which you have given consent.
Except as noted above, we will not use or disclose personal identifiable information, except in situations required to

When and How Medici May Contact You
When you register with MediciGlobal, or complete a prequalification questionnaire for a specific clinical trial, you indicate your consent for MediciGlobal to store your Personal Information in our database and contact you about clinical trials for which you may be eligible by various means, including telephone, email, and by post mail. You also have the option of receiving emails regarding new postings to our site, including news or new clinical trials. In addition, MediciGlobal may contact you periodically when we have provided new functionality to our website, so that you may take advantage of new services. If you receive a text message from us and would like to discontinue such messages, you may reply with the word “STOP” Providing a telephone number constitutes your consent for Medici to contact you at that number for the purposes outlined in this Policy.
Our Commitment to Data Security
We maintain information security safeguards to protect your Personal Information. We protect any Personal Information you provide using encryption, and utilize firewalls to protect our computer network from hackers. We take reasonable steps designed to prevent unauthorized access, use and alteration of Personal Information, but cannot guarantee the security of such information.
When information is collected during the pre-screening process and passed on to the clinical trial site we require a username and password for secure access to patient identifiable information. To minimize the chance that someone can guess a password, we require passwords with a minimum length of 8 characters, including numbers and upper and lower case letters. Please note that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Protection Laws
In jurisdictions with data protection laws, we will ensure that individuals can exercise all relevant informational rights regarding their Personal Information we process, including the rights of access and correction, to prevent direct marketing, block processing, and erase data. We adhere to the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor framework for the transfer of Personal Information to MediciGlobal from the European Economic Area.
Data Transfer Abroad
If you are visiting this Site from a country other than the United States, your communications will inevitably result in the transfer of information across international boundaries. Any information you provide through use of the Site may be stored and processed, transferred between and accessed from the United States and other countries. Privacy Concerns and Dispute Resolution
Any questions, concerns or complaints regarding the use or disclosure of personal identifiable information should be first directed to MediciGlobal’s contact centre at the toll free number nDuring the initial call to the contact centre, the customer service representative first seeks authorization from the caller to capture personal identifiable information in its database. Those who consent are then asked to describe the reason for the call. This information is forwarded to MediciGlobal’s Privacy Officer. Individuals may also contact MediciGlobal via email at the address noted below. When MediciGlobal receives a question, complaint or concern regarding the privacy of personal identifiable information, the Privacy Officer will direct the investigation of the complaint/concern. MediciGlobal is dedicated to providing a timely response to any concern.
